Hello...Is there any way I can find out the history of ludwig tension rods.....I have bought a couple of old WFL & Ludwig Snare Drums...but the collar length and indeed the length of the rods vary quite significantly....also the thickness of the rod....I realise they could possibly be tom lugs that people have used instead of snare rods....but is there any surefire way to determine the age of a simple tension rod.....Thanks Barry

can you post some pics of the tension rods i can tell you the years!! and experience is the best teacher on this, also wirh ludwigs history you are also dealing with when conn owned them also!!
