You sir, may have just given these MIJ Sumo Dude snares a modest amount of credibility.Clapping Happy2 That is a cool little snare drum you got there. I have a stack of 'em, and some people insist they are crappola.

After hearing that, I would not suggest you make any changes to the edge, unless you think it could make it sound better. Having heard this on a laptop, I can only hear so much, but it sounds like music to me....Yes Sir

Sorry, yes I bought the snare for $125 thinking it was a Slingerland.

Well, part of it is anyway and you're right, the snares sounds great.
