Ludwig 6-ply bass

Loading...

I'm looking for a 6-ply Ludwig bass drum to round out a kit. Shipping may get expensive, as I'm in Canada -- but if anyone is looking to part with one, or knows of one for sale, I'd be interested.

Thanks!

I don't have an extra one, but.......you neglected to state what size you are looking for and if there was a preferred finish......I run into 6-ply stuff for cheap all the time....If I know what to look for, it might make it a tad easier to help you out... :D

I'm not picky about size or finish. I've got a bunch of orphan toms I'm going to rewrap, so I'll rewrap the bass when I find it too. 22" would be ideal, but I could do with a 20" or 24".

Thanks!

Wow, a 6 ply 20. Not sure that I have heard or seen too many of those, but it would have to be booming. I would love to have a 6 ply shell taht size.

Thanks all for the replies. I've picked up a 14x22 chrome-over-maple locally, so I'm off the market for now... I'll post another message if I start looking again.

Many thanks to those who replied with offers to help!
