Ok!!! more of my collection...i really love these drums!!! they just might be my FAV'S that i own...sound great for playing "Vintage R&R" and gettin "bluesy"

Im reading it's a 1 year 1949 "Ray McKinnley" in the Rob Cook Ludwig Book!!! although not pictured are the bongos, never the less i got'em!!! Im also a total sucker for this BIG PATTERN BLACK DIAMOND PEARL! to me its the best looking stuff around, seems like eveything else i burn out on,but not my BPBDPWFLLaughing H

Anyhow...24,13,16 w/matching 5-1/2x14 Buddy Rich(no tone control on snare)..All NOB hardwear...and for some reason this kit sounds really great with "SMOOTH" heads, instead of "COATED"??? anyone know why??? only thing these babies need is one 24" hoop and total complete kit!!!

All the stands are Rogers swivo, thats a "stay-tite" under the tom-tom,however i do have the WFL hoop mounted tom holder for it.total virgin 24" bass drum(no consolette or spurrs).i really feel the WFL'S from 47"-54 are better drums in everyway then any 60's ludwig set...so a trade would have tobe a very special one....not to mention this is a RAY McKINNELY 1949 ONE YEAR KIT W/MATCHING BUDDY RICH SNARE!!! WELL....according to the Rob Cook Ludwig book.

I think WFL no i know WFL'S are better than 60's ludwigs, the quality of build, better wood, better finish. BETTER PERIOD!! hey my ludwig kit dbp is in the gallery take a look but i am semi joking,!!Jumping2
