Largest floor tom ever made?

I got a 20" FT Rogers off ebay some yrs ago. It was my very 1st restoration. I got all new lugs, tension rods , hoops heads and wraped it to match my 68 sky blue pearl luddys. Turned out to be a slingy with 4 swivomatic legs. I sat a 22" vintage ride on top of it and used it for a trash can for a while! lol

Then I made a cocktail kit out of it, or tried.........Its very hard to tune as a bass drum. I really never liked the way it sounds.

To me,That a 14x20 bass drum not a 16.5 by 22" floor tom..Why 8 lugs a 22" would have 10 lugs..Ludwig never made a 22" floor tom or 22" tom rims...Mikey

I saw one in the late '80s. 22" floor tom with tom rims made by Ludwig.

Mikey oh yes they did make this size drum special order only i've seen and played one tried to buy the kit off the owner he wouldn't part with it, and my 18x20" only has 8 lugs on it?? I had a custom made early 7o's 20x20" bass drum by ludwig!!!

Not the largest but big. Other interesting features include the big chunk out of his right hand cymbal and the single headed ride tom.

Oh yeah and Martin and Lewis up front.
