1963 Slingerland 3 piece kit +

Loading...

I have a 3 piece Kit, 1963 Slingerlands, with Paiste Hight hats, Paiste Ride and Paiste Sizzle cymbals. I also have what appears to be an older Kick pedal along with the Kick Pedal that matches the Hight hat pedal.

I'm attaching pictures and was wonder if you guys could help out a dumb bassist The on the value of this kit, cymbals and extra kick pedal.

I also have a Premier floor Tom that was orginally wrapped like the Slingerland kit but the wrap was cracked and seperated from the shell so my drummer stained it, I guess it could be re-wrapped. I was also wondering the value of this.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Jay

Sizes would help, looks like a 13 inch tom and 20 inch kick but the picture is a bit distorted. Looks like its in great shape. Better pics of the cymbals also.

That's the coolest hardware Slingerland made...imo. I love that flat base stuff. Excellent snare, also. Good luck on the sale. Check ebay completed listings. It will give you a ballpark. You may have to piece it together to get an overall value, but you should get close. Again, good luck!

Thanks guy's for the feedback, I'll get the sizes and post back along with better shots of the cymbals, the cymbals are the Paiste Formula 602. I should probably polish up the Cymbals also? Yes I was looking at selling it as a complete kit, except for the older kick pedal. Speaking of which does anybody have any info on the older kick pedal?

Thanks,

Jay

Jay,, you have some cool drum equipment, and no don't clean the cymbals, also measure each cymbal and get access to a set of gram scales they have them at the post office, etc,and weigh the cymbals that gives a very accurate point of refrence for any buyers and post all this at the time of sale, oh and your older bass drum pedal is called the slingerland "epic" pedal first built in 1934 and was made up until 1971, they are worth around $50.00 i would like to know about your paiste 602's thanksJump For Joy

Ok here we go:

Kick is 20"

Tom is 13"

Snare is 14"

Permire Floor tom is a 16.5

Cymbals:

Ride is 22"

High Hats are 14"

Sizzle Crash is 16"

I haven't had time to shoot any additional pictures as of yet but will try to do so today. I'm also going to try to find a digital scale to weigh the cymbals but couldn't yesterday.

Thanks again for all of your help, you guys are great!

You might want to check to see what the inside of the shells are, maple or mahogany. The wrap on those is not the most desirable and being a three piece makes it less valuable. Having all the hardware is a plus and those cymbals could be worth some cashews, the 602's are very desirable, might want to consider selling those seperate.
