I have two vintage WFL bass mufflers....50s and 40s and I need a Slingerland one from the 50s.

Anyone want to trade?

Thanks

Hmmm, I think I might have one, but I'm not looking for any more mufflers...

I'm looking for the WFL mufflers. I might have something you would like BBK. We could do a three-way trade (if that's legal in your state). Let me know what you are seeking. I've got a Stuff For Sale/Trade thread up and I've got some other stuff. I'm always up for helping a friend out. Thanks.

mcjnic...I have a full plate for now. Only thing I'm looking for would be some Black Label Paiste 2002's or 602's, or older Trans. badge Zildjians. Possibly some stuff to complete a Slingy snare...

Here's two pics of the one from the 50s

It is not completely original, the hoop mount arrived incomplete, and I found a part in a box of "hodge podge" parts I bought on Ebay that fits. The screw and wing nut are from Lowes. I left them unattached in one pic so you can see which parts are incorrect.

BBK

I don't have a pic of the Slingerland muffler that I need, but it is the model 935

Deluxe Shur-Grip at the top right of page 168 in the Slingerland book by Rob Cook.

If this doesn't "fit" for either of you, it's no biggie at all. I don't mind the less-than-original part of mine, and the Shur-Grip shows up occasionally on the bay.
