There are tons of hotels in the area,

For years I stayed at the Holiday Inn express which is on the main drag in st charles. Super 8 and other big chain hotels are on that drag too.

There are some that are even closer to the show.

It's not a bad idea to book early and say you're going to the drum show.

There are a billion restaurants in the area. St Charles is an historic town if you or a spouse want to get away from drums. (But really, between the clinics and all the drums, it's a drummer's wet dream for a day or two...

Of course they do, its the American way.....

My advice is to book early. There is usually a large group from ghostnote that goes. You may want to surf over there and do a search on whos going, whos staying where and see if there is a group discount going on...
