We had a Marc's yard and a half birthday party last night at the Fisher Jamhole.
Im 54 now. Hurting . Our fiddle Player gave me a nice fiddle for my collection. its very cool. The guy that I bought the Blk Panthers from came and he gave me 1964 Ludwig Floor tom. Someone has painted it black, it has the red felt base ball bat muffler, under the black paint it's white marine pearl. Eye BallI think he hates me. Here I am just getting started restoring my Panthers, and he comes up and gives me this rare old FT that I will have to bug all you guys for advice on how to remove the black paint hoping that it will look fabulous under the stupid black paint. This floor tom came from the same guy that sold him the panthers, so I am assuming the original owner of these wanted 2 floor toms, and painted it black to match the Black Panthers. Is there a paint stripper that won't harm the pearl wrap?
