I wasnt trying to offend you. I was just havin a little fun. This forum is an excellent place to learn about vintage drums. Many of these guy have a wealth of information at your disposal, but There's a lot of cocky personalities on here also. That's not a bad thing. Keep an open mind and have a sense of humor, because you're gonna need it, if you hang out here. One suggestion I have, is to do a search on something your interested in learning about. Then, when you start asking questions, you will already have a little background info on the subject and sound intillegent. This is a awesome place for a drummer to be!

PS Welcome to the Forum!

Actually it's not that uncommon a mistake. People make it all the time.....

Ya' gotta admit, that's pretty strange semantics on the trademark:

"Genuine Turkish Cymbals, Made in USA"....

So....wha ?....they are Turkish.....and..... American ? If they are Made in USA....aren't they... American ?

If they are Turkish....wouldn't they have been made in...oh, I dunno.....Turkey ?

"they are Turkish cymbals made in the USA"......Always seemed a bit odd to me.....

PS ~ sounding intelligent is waaaay overrated.....

#1 - '60's #2 - '70's #3 - '60's #4 - '50's BTW - Beautiful weights !!

Can you say what differences you see between #2 (70's) and #4 (50's) - other than that the bottom of the stamp in #4 is not as deep?

I'm not being argumentative - I'm trying to figure out the diff.
