A friend of mine brought this snare to the Jamhole. The snare was loose, it had no muffler, and no top head. I brought it home and installed a Remo coated ambassador head I had and a after market muffler I just happened to have. I checked it on the drum identifing page and best I can tell it has a Black and Brass Niles Oval Badge. 1963-1969. Serial # 132905. It has 6 lugs and stick saver rims. It is a tan color inside the shell. What is it and how much is it worth. He might trade me for a good crash cymbal. He gave $5 for it at a pawn shop a long time ago. I offered him $10 lol ExcitedExcited

Hi Poppy!
Looks to be the Deluxe Student model
Link...........................
I'm not sure about a value, a bit more than $5 I would think, though......:)

This isn't to be confused with the 8 lug Student RK that you already have, Poppy.

I would definitely trade for a crash cymbal if he is agreeable. But I believe that the $150 to $200 quote is a bit high for a 6 lugger.

Yeah maybe, but those 6 luggers are acquiring a following and it is wmp in pretty nice condition.
