Seen 'em go for 150-500, depending on condition. If it is a BB, red felt, from '64 it will get all the money, if in good shape.

Hey buddy, I actually saw one here go for 150 in really good shape, but we all know why. I didn't have the jack. It stayed up for 3 days before for someone took advanage of the poor soul. I went and tapped on it, and looked it over, and mommy said NO!...I tried to show her that I flip it it 15 minutes to anyone on here for a quick 2bone profit and she refused, saying I ain't having very good luck with those stupid Ludwig drums....It went abnout 3 hours after I looked at it. I didn't have a chance to put it up here. So, yeah, maybe it only happens in the dream world, but it happens. And Kevin is right, it is a COB...so maybe a tad more. Doesn't hurt to dream though.

Yep, it's OK to dream , and thanks for sharing that. But he did ask for the going rate, and you won't get one for the amount you gave. I think too, the change over from brass was in '63 for the Supra.... I'm going by a sticky thread supplied by a forum member, and wasn't offered again until 78/79, again referring to the sticky from before.

The only COB Supra in completed listings on Ebay sold for $650.

The range you supplied is more suited for a COS Supra in bad shape for $150 to a hundred dollars too much for an excellent one at $500.

But, you're right, you are my buddy, buddy.

There are no COS Supras. The Ludaloy ones go for $200 - $300 in great shape.

COB Supers, in great shape, go for more than $500. I've seen 'em go for $1K, but usually $650 - $800.

If insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results, is it insane to practice?

Yep, I used the COS term incorrectly.

And not all pre-serial Supras are brass, that one may be, but unless the seller just does not know what he has, it probably is not.

If it's in good shape, it's still a good price, though.

There is a really good sticky thread on this topic, several of the forum heavy-hitters contributed.....
