Finally - 66 Ludwig's 'Blu Lu'

OK, yeah it took far too long, but I finally got these kinda done. I'll take better pix this spring. I have this 'thing' about taking pix by the pool, and it's been overcast... Anyway, here they are! The kit is a 12 16 20 with a Super Sensitive snare I added. Some random poopy snare came with the kit. Found them at a yard sale for $60.00. In the next set of pix I'll include some vintage stands. The snare stand is correct though, old WFL. Check my web page for more pix. These had lived in a closet for a loooong time... Clapping Happy2

OK, well I really have to give credit where it's due... Last spring, my wife and i were out goofing off one Saturday morning. Yard sales, a couple errands, breakfast... Lazy Saturday morning stuff. I SAW this kit first thing in the morning, but didn't stop. We were heading to breakfast, it was covered by some sheets and bedding, kind of peeking out, and I figured it was just some piece of poop kit. After breakfast, and all the errands and other yard sales we passed it again. At the time, my wife worked nights and was tired. She was ready to get some more sleep. As I pulled into the driveway she said I had better go back and look at those drums. Imagine my surprise when I pulled the old sheets and bedding off... Jump For Joy
