AVOID at that price!!! no no no...

Those are cheapy imports and are not what you would call 'good' drums. They don't sound great and are cheaply built. A nice Yamaha from the late 60's to mid 70's would be a much much much better kit if you're set on an import.

so far he's about $484.00 short of his hoping price and he has no reserve price set, if you can get em for $100.00 and to use em as a gigging kit, you could do worse.

Your drummers not much good is he!? What you need is someone that's as good as me. ! John Henry Bonham !!

They have an aroma of stale rice.

...and the hardware, and the bass mounts, and the tags, and the shell construction, and the wraps/finishes, and again, they smell like old rice.

At first glance I would agree with the group-but-stick saver rims-wood BD hoops.Ask for a serial number on the badge. That will tell all.Badges should have Chicago-Niles-USA etc.The later Slingys should have those giant batwing tightening screws on the tom mounts.

Not a hundred percent of the time. It also depends on 'who' was putting 'em out at the time. These are imports.

This is a Spirit series kit. The hardware, tag, serial number, shell, and wrap puts it there. That's a nine ply mahogany (cheapy) shell. Again, it's nowhere near worth that price.
