i saw this clamp on an old max roach photo and i was wondering what this is.

seems a pretty good idea, that you can't accidently hit the wing nut whith this contraption.

any ideas ?

Hi, I have seen these on old vintage hi-hat stands from the 30s-40s..made by leedy,ludwig,slingerland...Iam not sure who made it but i do think it was duplex...Mikey
