Hi guys, I'm new to the forum but I've been collecting for a long time. I'm thinking of selling my Cadillac Green Gretsch toms and I'm trying to guage interest. They're vintage roundbadge and sound great. 8x12 and 14x14. This is the most rare Gretsch finish, and ultra-rare in these sizes. The rack tom has a bit of snare rub and the floor tom is practically spotless. Wrap and badges are tight. Please PM for more info.

Can I ask how much was these?
I'm dreaming someday I would have these Cadillac Green kit.
I think the seller above listed them on ebay at the same time as starting this thread.
The two drums were an instant sell for $2500.

I'm sorry but I can't see paying that much for them....WITHOUT a bass drum! I don't care how "rare" the color is (its plain ugly) or how "rare" the sizes are. Gretsch are great drums and have their own particular sound, HOWEVER, I just can't see why Grestch commands a premium over other vintage brands. Ludwig's sound better to me as do Leedy, Rogers and the old Radio Kings. And the hardware was inferior (still is) on Gretsch compared to other vintage drums. I'd rather have my Ludwigs, my Leedy's (real leedys not the slingerland era) or a nice set of pre-big R Rogers (swivomatic era).....they are more reasonably priced and sound every bit as good as Gretsch does, if not better.
Ok, sorry...I'm off the Soap Box now.....
The reason why they sold that much was obviously the ludwig snare....duhhhh.hahaha
