Looking for a Gretsch Round Badge grommet for BD

I need a badge grommet that fits a 60s Gretsch round badge for a bass drum. I have the badge, just need the grommet. Please let me know if you have one. It doesn't need to be a vintage grommet. Thanks! -scolner

Hi I have vintage n.o.s. Gretsch brass grommets...What size hole do you need?? i think toms ,snares,bass drums used all the same...P.M. if you like thanks mikey

Gretsch used nickel (not brass) for its RB bass drums, and they were larger than the ones used on other drums.

I haven't found any new grommets that are the correct size for a RB BD badge. The inside circle ranges in size from 15/32 to 17/32, and they came in either nickel or brass, usually nickel. If you find a source for new ones that fit correctly, let me know!

Thanks for the information...I'll check out the site.. I'll post what I find out..

The center hole for my badge is 1/2" - 17/32. I would like to get a brass grommet to match the other round badge BD I have. They are from the same era and have the same finish.

News to me that they used brass grommets for BDs - mine are all nickel. Do you know what year the BD you have is from?

I took a closer look at my other BD badge and it is indeed a nickel grommet. Sorry I got that wrong.

I am still looking for a grommet. Precision drum doesn't have any that will work. Anybody out there have one?
