Yep. It looks like you did very well! That's a nice kit! $600.00 is a good price.

Nice work.

Perhaps the fact that this sale was singled out as a smokin' deal at more than you paid by a legendary deal hound on another forum will make you feel better.

I saw that link, and wasn't pleased, because I had to wait for one of my US friends to wake up and place the bid. Non US bids weren't allowed. It was a thriller but now it's okD' Drummerflowers2

Seeing as you have someone in the USA who is willing to bid on your behalf, you ought to consider taking it a step further and just asking if he'll let you change your Ebay account to his home address in the future when you see something you want in an auction that is restricted to USA bidders.

Then you won't have to sweat bullets like you did here.

You can always switch your account address back to where you live after that.

I have to do this with my account between USA (where I am from), UK (where my office is) and Italy (where I live).

Just be sure that when you make the paypal payment you note where (in the USA) you want the item sent. I was in a hurry once to catch a plane and sent the paypal payment through but to my UK address (you can't change paypal account addresses like ebay). By the time I got off the plane the seller had already called ebay frantically wondering how a foreign buyer got through his "auction firewall", moved to cancel the transaction, sent my money back and resold the item on second chance offer!

I still managed to get the item (a 14" RB Gretsch FT) but I had to basically call the guy up and let him hear I wasn't some "fur-ner" for himsel.
