My Very First Crayon

Some of you dads, moms, and veteran cats have probably run into this long ago, but it's my first.

Bought a kit yesterday, and the seller said "There is a crayon inside one of the toms. One of the kids pushed it through the grommet."

I'm thinking, yeah right, it's part of the tone control. But, sure enough, it's a Kodak Crayon....Blue Violet in color.....

Think I'll save it ...... ahhhh, my first.......

Wowweeeee Zowwwweeeee!!!

Very nice kit. I love how it's mellowed. So sweet, Kev. I'm very glad to be going through this drum thingy with you. What a kick!

Thank-you my friend..... I probably can't keep all this for very long,

but the tubs will be the last to go. Sitting behind a 20 inch bass is a little

more comfortable for me... short legs... !!

Yes, I really dig the wrap...... Mello Yello.......

I agree with the mellow-yellowing. What is it about the yellowed wrap? I love it. Nice, nice kit. The cymbals and hardware came with? Can we ask how much (that might be an inappropriate question)? Fun seeing all these vintage kit purchases.

Nice kit Kev, I have been pretty lazy about taking some pics of my latest score. I need to bring it out of my drum room to get some good photos and I would just rather play it! I just scored a matching snare off one of our fine members here and am just about done with the cleanup. I will post the pics when it is ready.
