The test post above shows 1 attachment, but when you click on it there is a second version of it in the popup window if you use the forward > button.  

That's interesting.  And strange.  Let me look into it.  Have you checked your messages?  There should be a test from me.  The alert that should appear on the top right corner should be fixed later tonight.  Most of our issues are related to PHP

Here is the explanation.

"The new message alert feature is not working due to another deprecated PHP module preventing notifications"

These issues are really lack of funds on my part. I could set up a monthly service which would keep up with all of the changes that happen with this stuff.

I'm still planning that out.

I didn't have any 'alerts' and I just checked my message center. No messages are in there.

If you recently sent me a mssage it didn't make it through the gauntlet. Also, none of the stored messages from the old system are there either (they may have been purged with the big move a while ago - I can't recall if I checked the storage after the move????).

After clicking into/reading an updated thread with a new post,  the primary Forum page is not clearing the "Unread Messages" indicator unless clicking on the either the primary Forum or the sub-forum's "Mark forum as read" button. 

I will check into this and see what can be done.
