But.....this is not the "monster" kit that Hal used on all those wrecking crew sessions. This was his touring kit. Still, it is a sweet kit, just not the monster. In case anyone doesn't know the difference, the pic of the double bass Ludwig blue sparkle kit is the one for sale.

Yup. For sure. It was a newer listing and wanted to make sure all were aware. Nothing more. The fiberglass monster kit will most likely end up in a museum...or...

I think I read somewhere recently (Modern Drummer maybe??) that the fiberglass kit was destroyed in a fire some years ago......

Actually, one of the monster kits resides at the NAMM museum. It is presently not being displayed and is in storage. The other monster kit is at Donn Bennett's drum shop in Seattle.
