The logo does not extend to the edge on these (picture 1). There are no date stamps anyway, so that would have just been frustrating if there were the badge you were seeking. I did recently get some parts off of a damaged shell from someone on Reverb. That drum had the badge with the logo going all the way to the edge (picture 2). The seller still has the other drums from that set, so might have some information for you. Message me and I will give you the details.

This San Francisco Model in Gold Ripple Multi-Brilliant finish (circa late 60s/early 70s) has an added matching snare to go with the chrome one it had when I bought it. It is almost complete after several months of searching for parts.
That is a beautiful set KCDD. Glad to hear it's almost all together :)
(I didn't know about the logo anomalies in the Sonor pool, interesting!)
I discovered it when member Henk was showing off his collection, I was shocked when he didn't even know.

Before the seamless Champion and Phonics, that was a D421. SONOR didn`t make any student drums without a bead in the teardrop era.
I apologize but I’m confused, so what drum is this? I mentioned I bought this in ‘71 but believe it may have been more like ‘72 or ‘73.
