$1000.00 is just a bit out of range, just for tubs...throw in some hardware and cymbals and maybe...
You know what you get for nothing? Nothing! i am shocked by all the bad attitudes towards sellers everyone wants something for nothing well i hope he holds out and finds a buyer that wants that kit they are not made anymore, they are the best ever made, and they bring what people will pay for them.. If you find a deal, great good for you but knocking someone for asking what they want for something is plain rude..
Those actually are my drums! They are in great shape and are well worth the price!! I'd put em' against any in the studio or live!! they don't make'em like that anymore! if you don't like the price look somewhere else bud!!
Cool your jets, I wasn't knocking anyone, I'm being realistic. The ad that was listed is specific, "The sizes are 13",16", and 22" All have Aquarian heads. comes with shells only NO hardware!"
A kit like that with no hardware, as shown IMO is not worth $1000.00, even if it is BDP. The sizes are not extremely odd (jazz sizes, ovesize bass drum), the hardware is not present nor being sold with it, so as it stands, and with past sold items like these, I feel my opinion is not only accurate, it is justified.
I am in no ways being rude, nor trying to whittle someone down or having a bad attitude towards the seller. I have paid high dollar for some drums, and made some good deals. This is a forum, to which I post, donate and contribute my opinion, please don't make this a personal issue regarding my comments on the drumset in discussion.

Easy going big guy. These drums were played with a Worship Band. They served our LORD. It's ok if someone doesn't agree with you. It wasn't meant with malice or insult. It was his idea of a good price. I don't agree or disagree with the price. It's none of my concern. I would remind you that you should expect some to disagree with you and add opinions when not asked. It's just how it is. Hope you get what you need and all works out. Good luck and take care.
I am in no way trying to be personel about this kit to anyone i was simply stating that it seems like alot of folks selling drums these days get negative comments about their prices by people wanting to buy them for little or nothing and i am simply stating that is rude and unwarrented. they own the drums and can ask what they want for them, i hope they get it... as long as i am at it i can not stand people who strip a perfectly good set of drums and sell the parts seperatly just for a few more bucks just rubs me wrong..
I think the set is well worth 1000.00 and i base that on color ,condition and the fact they are together and not made up of stripped parts, what other kit could anyone buy for a grand that is this good in that color?.. all this is just my opinion so it means little just sticking up for folks selling their drums.. :)
I agree with Mike T. In my humble opinion these are easily worth the asking price. These are Buddy Rich Celebrity sizes...classics Mark in San Diego
Worth the price...YES!Would most people spend $1,000 on a set of drums...

a grand is nothing these days for a good set of shells price the same thing in DW and they are NOT vintage... as time goes by it will get harder and harder to find complete sets and they will be worth alot more than ones put together with parts from other drums just makes sense well it does to me.. :)
