Nice sizes, though ! The badges really just read "Orange" ????? I would guess a Japanese stencil kit. Can you post some pics ????
I remember when their ads came out in the early 70's but never saw them.
They were from France and the hi hat was what caught most people's eye - it had dual springs mounted on the outside that looked cool.
Orange were a Capelle product. Capelle are a still functioning drum manufacturer in France:
I don't recall the ins and outs, but Orange was a drum label used to market Capelle drums in England. I believe the late 70's to 80's. This is why there are still Orange amps out there:

...but no Orange drums.
The drums were early versions of the current trend for deep shells. The hardware had a lot of unique features. The hihat went through various monikers including Promark at one point. The bass pedal aka Excalibur (I have one) is a very cool one off.
The only reviews I ever saw were in the Brit mag, International Music1an and Recording World.
The most and best info I have found is on La Drummerie:

The forum is French language, and I have had my best luck pitching queries in French.

nothing rhimes with orange
When I was in high school, there was a guy who picked up a new Orange kit and played it at one of our dances. It was a pretty cool kit if I recall. This was a bit over 30 years ago, but I remember liking them. I don't remember the guys name but I remember the drums. Typical.
I have an orange catalog and hardware flyers with drums pictured. I can scan them at some point today.
I say buy them if they are in nice condition and the price is good.
They look well built in the catalog. Interesting hardware construction.

Actually Orange amplifiers were made in England and really had nothing to do with Orange drums......BTW, Orange amps sounded great but were horribly made, much like SoundCity amps were (except those sounded terrible as well!) Basically they were a Marshall knockoff sonically, but visually they were very....ummm.....interesting, ya thats it! LOL!
