PS - One dealer in Boston has a "like new" Covington (in text described as mint) to go with it for the first tempting price I've seen.
Pick up the Covington there and drive an hour north and get your matching PowerTone! Not a bad deal overall.

Given that the new Powertones are not touched by an American until they are opened by their new owner, I'm not interested in purchasing new. Not xenophobic, I just want to support home grown manufacturing. I so wish that Bill D. was involved in these as he is with the new Dynas. I completely understand the Rogers marketing and pricepoint strategy; I just choose not to support it.

That is an interesting piece of info. I wonder why he was cut out of the process (cost of course being the likely element). Too bad, but I'm with you though.
