Rogers - Philly/Allentown/Harrisburg

If you're nearby, might be a find/score here in Denver, PA because it's local pickup only. Looks to be 70/71 Celebrity in red sparkle with some hardware. Great gig set with just a bit of snare rash on back side of 9x13. Would tend toward a big sound and bright under the light.

Dan!

A really nice Celebrity outfit! I'll post pictures in the largest size VDF accepts! The set is actually 68-69. The first Fullerton tags looked identical to the Dayton tags...except for the "Fullerton".

It looks to me that the bass drum might have once been configured like my Rogers set that custom ordered in 1961. My Holiday series drums hs the snare drum mounted on the bass drum with a Swivomatic receiver near the hoop closest to the drummer. The 8x12 tom was mounted closer to midway between the two bass drum hoops. My tom's Swivo receiver and my snare's Swivo receiver were more in a straight line than the tom mount on the set and the mount that was once on the bass drum in the pictures. If I bought that drum set, I would do one of two things: (1). replicate my 1961 set to mount the snare where the mounted tom is currently mounted and re-install the Swivo mount for the tom or: (2). Reinstall a Swivo or Knobby in the location where the mount used to be, and place a splash or crash cymbal in the location.

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

Hi leedybdp!

The Celebrity bass drum in question was configured exactly like the bass drum from my 1972 Celebrity outfit!

Here is mine. Perhaps my favorite kit. All Cleveland. I have an additional 12 and 14 floor so I play around with the configuration. I last played it as a 22-12-14 and it sounded great!
