You won't need those squeakers if you're using a Ludwig Speed King bass drum pedal.

Seriously, though Chewie:...Think about it....a drum/whistle instrument -where the air pressure is provided from the compression of the head and your other fingers over the whistle holes (5 whistles would give you 6 separate tones (all open,1,2,3,4,5) and that would give several chord possibilities.

Plus, as leedy stated, you could add a squeak king and go atonal!

They replaced Ludwig lugs with imported. Just drilled more holes!

I think that might be a fabulously fat flute.
