+1 with the detail/clean-up only crowd...

Cheers

I think you should get some low quality black spray paint and spray it inside and out. Make sure you cover any date stamps and be sure to get a couple coats on the badge. Seems like that is the in thing these days.

Thank you!

Hell, spray the whole thing, heads and all with plastidip. The hipsters love that stuff on their cars these days.

Spray paint makes too much of a mess. Use a paint brush.

Okay but seriously folks (I always think of Joe Walsh when I hear that, great album) I have to agree with everyone here to simply clean it up. Now I have to google plastidip.

Thank you!

Almost forgot to explain my madness, I just removed black paint, blue paint wallpaper and paste from a set of trans badge shells that I bought last fall. Going to spray those babies tomorrow!

Thank you!

I took your advise over the weekend. They look great and have that late 60's/early 70's vibe. Cool1

On the snare drum, I'd leave it as is. Very interesting size at 15-inch diameter. I had a 20's era 15x4 Ludwig tube lug snare back in the 90's. Traded it for a BDP Dynasonic. You don't see a lot of 15-inch diameter snare drums.

The Auditorium is looking great after a coat of Restor a Finish and Wax - just waiting for new heads. I'll post pictures when its assembled.
