I'm looking for recommendation's regarding drum shops that have, or can find vintage snare drums and kits.

I live in Selma Oregon and it's slim pickins' around here!

Looking for Radio King, One ply Artists, '60's Slingerland No. 133. Ludwig LM402 and LM405.

Thank you for any leads. A computer search does not compare to actual customer feedback/recommendations. Walking

Since you're in Selma, you're only 4.5 hours away from Portland. I would recommend you take the journey up north and visit Revival Drum Shop!

1970 Ludwig Downbeat
1965 Ludwig Hollywood
1970 Ludwig Jazzette

Olympic Drums and Percussion is two gentlemen who I believe live in Seattle and Portland between them. Maybe you can combine that in your visit to Portland. I can second Revival Drum Shop and can also recommend Nelson's Drum Shop in Nashville (my neck of the woods). Good luck!

I would look at Drummers Tradition in San Raphael.

The last time I was in ,the manager was kind of a dick, but nice selection otherwise.

The Starving Musician chain in the bay area has some interesting finds now and then too.

You might want to check out Sam Adato in your neck of the woods in Eugene, OR

Thanks for the info!

Yes, I know of the stores in Oregon.

I received a private message from a group member but I was unable to open it.

I will second that. They had an amazing selection of vintage snares and sets a couple years ago when I traded my Club Dates for my Rock Duo set.

1971 Ludwig Rock Duo set in Blue Oyster Pearl
early Mapex dual bass drum Saturn kit
1964 Leedy Ray  Mosca kit in Blue Sparkle
1959 Slingerland Super Gene Krupa snare in WMP
1968 Slingerland Hollywood Ace Snare Drum
1969 and 1977 Ludwig 400 Supraphonic snares
1965 Acrolite snare
Ludwig Coliseum snare
'68 Rogers Dynasonic snare
Pearl free floating piccolo snare
13" Mapex piccolo snare
6.5" deep Mapex steel snare
Mapex 6.5" Brass snare
I know there's more snares than that.
UFIP cymbals / Avedis Zildjians
Ghost pedals or Tama King Beats
