So, I managed to get this little MIJ 16" Bass drum in WMP.
It's the same type Ringo used in the Hello, Goodbye video.
It's a single tension drum. The hoops are wood.

I have the matching (or very similar) snare in WMP
I must dig it out and give it a clean up....

I've owned the full set in the past, but I sold it. I tried to buy it back, but the owner wasn't willing to part with it.
I was glad that I was able to find this bass drum, which is the best drum on the kit. I only really wanted that bass drum. This particular drum is in very nice, original condition. It even has the original heads. It's missing the spurs, but I play it with hoop mounted spurs. I put a decent batter head on it and I play it. It has a cool sound.
I got it from UK. Could it be the very one Ringo played in the video? I'm going to say YES! Of course it is!Obviously. OK, maybe not, but you never know. ;)

I have a hunch that you can find tube lugs with the hole spacing to match the holes for those toy drum lugs. You would not have to do any drilling, and could return the toy lugs to the shell at any time. The drum would be sturdier to play with the tube lugs.
