Amen to that, my friend! I suppose that's been the case since man first beat upon a hollow log and liked the effect! The young guys in the tribe liked the sound from any newly fallen log they tripped on. The elders in the group demanded that only logs be used that were brought down by lightning several full moons ago! I am doomed to drummers' purgatory!

That sure is a beastly snare drum!
Thought I’d throw these other beastly items on here ...I think that 11kg cymbal weight has to be a typo mistake. I believe it’s 115kg. (253 lbs.)
