Man those are very dark. Almost looks like black nitron. Those sizes don't pop up that often with Gretsch as most are 20/13/16. Check all drums top and bottom to make sure heads fit, those can be a real bugger if heads don't fit. You can get reproduction badges for around $30 each. Real ones go for around $100 for toms, snares and around $150 for bass drums.

If the shells are painted, it maybe because heads wouldn't fit with the original wrap. So rewrapping might not be an option. Hard to put a price on it. Generally a 14" Gretsch floor can fetch $1500 by itself. Repainted and missing it's badge. Maybe $600? I would say maybe $1200 tops the way it's sitting right now. Perhaps some of the Gretsch experts will chime in and give you a better take on it and price.

Sorry for interrupting this thread, but where can you get reproduction badges? I have a similar RB set to this one (painted maroon!), and the bass drum is missing its badge. I am considering a rewrap.

I paid the equivalent of ca 1 300 USD for my kit, but I believe prices are higher for RB kits here in Sweden.

Just left it sitting

missing parts and holes everywhere painted exterior looks like they sprayed over interior grey and over tag of bd the shell it’s Swiss cheese

14 nice til I saw hole on bottom he said 400 but I saw it as a waste of money i offered 3 he passed

if ft was not extra hole I would of bit

some one else on the way said 400 wait to he gets there

oh well , plus no badges had to pass

being that 14 was there

Too much work just to make it right although he said it was 20 inch bd it looked like 18

Too old, to wise , also saw it as good players kit but what can u do maybe I should of coughed up the 400
