Shout out to Hawthorne Drums , Pittsburgh, PA

I wanted to give Hawthorne Drum Shop in Pittsburgh a shout out; recently acquired a 14" OBP floor tom from Chris. Item was in excellent condition and well packed. Price was in line for what I expected to finish my Downbeat kit. Thanks Chris!

Sorry, Dan, here it is with the rest of the set...

I have been looking for a while and good friend and MLayton (Mike) put me on to it. It's a 1965 vintage.

Here are some photos of it with a Pioneer snare plus a 20" ride with rivets and a late 50's 18" Zildjian A Small Stamp.

I have purchased multiple items from them and never had a problem, very open and communicative team, items that completely matched the description and professional packaging (always a concern).

I also highly recommend them !

Photos below. I think it is Vinny Appice Signature series by Aquarian ; has a sound deadener ring attached to the head

I put a pair of Remo Coated Ambassadors on the 14" and she sounds sweet!

Yes, I have 20/12/14 and 22/13/16 plus a gigging kit 1966 22/13/16.
