RIMS mounting Club Date

Thanks for all the input on my question. Yesterday, I installed the new style Gauger RIMS. The eyelets are adjustible, and the rim is made of aluminum, so it bends better for fine tuningFYI. It works like a charm. I may do all my other drums with the new style RIMS. The tom is singing...you gotta love those 3 plys.

It's amazing, isn't it? Did you take off the old tom mount? THAT will really get it to sing, if you didn't already...

That mount is in the bin of doom. It was a pre-diamond plate era...just 2 bolts.
