If I recall correctly, as I had more than a few pair back in the day, was the Rogers BR Sticks also had the shaft tapered where you would hold the stick.
In the early 70's I even made a few duplicate pairs in shop class on a lathe from various woods because I liked those sticks quite a bit.
Another stick I liked, was I believe the Ludwig Ray Bauduc Model. I forget, think if memory serves me correctly it was a 3A, but might've been a 5A? Had a uniquely shaped tip-bead.
Also have a slew of the old now gone Densiwood Sticks (7A), must have a whole box of them new sealed, and 5A as well. If I recall, these were made by Capella.
I recall Capella also made some weird stuff, sticks with 3 nylon heads on them, the two outboard beads being attached with Nylon Monofilament. Think I have a few pair, never used them though.
And they also made those big 36" long "Cheech&Chong" Sticks, like in the movie Up In Smoke, "Earache My Eye" LOL (My mutha talkin to me tryin to tell me how to live! LOL)
