I may have a deal on this kit, he wants the Slingerland I just bought, an 80's Tama snare and $325.

I have little money in the snare and $575 in kit.

With the matching snare, I like the trade. How many Rogers sets with a matching snare are you going to find locally that you can look at before making a trade with something that individual is willing to trade for? Probably not many.

Rogers sets are desirable so I could see you having an easier time moving this later with trading and/or selling with or without the snare depending on if you wanted to keep the snare.

I think you have proven to not get emotional over originality so here is an opportunity to swoop in and go all in when others are locked up because a MIJ tom mount does not compute.

It is easy for me to say go for it though when it isn't my drums or money:)
