Found this in my grandfather's banjo case (1927 model banjo). IT IS SIX SIDED!
WTF (Why That's Fantastic)
When did or why did Rogers make this key as I can't find any evidence they ever had 6-sided lugs.

Does it work on his banjo? Rogers made banjo heads as well as drum heads. Maybe the key was for tuning banjos?
Got a VERY UNIQUE key there.
I have this key in my banjo key collection...Not a common key...
Cheers
Anyone know of any other hex drum keys? I have a Meazzi Hollywood snare with 6 sided tension rods.
Walberg & Auge drums had six-sided drum tension rods for many years. In addition to an original W&A drum key, I have also bought a few new production clock keys that fit the drum T-rod heads. A 5/16 socket or nut driver works very well, too. That skate key-looking thingy came to me with my first Walberg & Auge (1963) drum set.
