Here's another kit the dude just showed me, it's a Leedy in a blue sparkle finish. I think it has a 13,16,20, $750.
Leedy
A couple inconsistencies here. Any pictures of the interiors? Are those extra holes in the BD?
Rewrapped? The grommet on the bass looks messed with
This Leedy set is much more preferable to me than that Ludwig set you showed us yesterday. Even if you can't negotiate a lower price, this looks like a very good deal.
The grommet is actually missing but the wrap appears to be factory. That particular badge was used '58-'61 but the four bolt rail consolette on the BD did not appear until '64. Some interior shots could clear up the issue. Based on what can be seen it seems to be a mid 60's kit with a wrong badge. More info needed.

DrumBob has a Leedy in this same color, so I agree, it could be original. This color seems kind of rare except on Leedy kits. I'm not sure why, it's a pretty color.
That price looks pretty good from what I've seen out there.
Jimmy, this finish is a known variant of Slingerlands blue sparkle of the sixties. Drums are SlingerLeedy. http://www.vintagedrumguide.com/drcjw/article_4_finishes12.htm
Tom is stamped February 1966.
They're a lot like mine, same dark blue, not re-wrapped. You've seen the photo I posted here. My sizes are 12/14/20. I'd say buy them. Good luck.

Thanks for that.
It just seems pretty common on Leedy kits.
