Yes, as long as there are no tears in the metal, it is repairable. I have done several on a jig I have made. PM me for details if you are interested, I can repair it for you if you’d like.

I set it up just for this and it works on Dyna or Supra shells. The 6.5 in the picture is mine and it was dented at almost every lug and at the strainer. The other was a 6.5 I did for a client. He loved it!

I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be the "correct" way to bend it back, but I would try a rubber mallet and see if you can get it straightened out. Probably not the best idea though, lol

I have a vintage Star marcher which had several minor dents. I took it to an acquaintance who owned a body shop proclaiming "paintless dent removal". My mistake!!! Although the dents were less noticeable, the tool employed left numerous small dings in the shell. They reminded me of some kind of perverted snail tracks! I really don't recommend this for drums. Cars maybe. Drums...NO!

There is no folds or tears, all of them can be taken out.

I'm told any place that repairs saxophones, trumpets, tubas etc. can repair metal shells.

Brass is very soft, a rubber mallet carefully used will do the trick.

Take it to a musical instrument repair shop that does horns and stuff.

They fix brass instruments and should have the tools to do so.

I've seen then do miracles.

Sometimes similar dents can taken out with just a pair of strong hands.. Vices and G clamps & wood scraps are also handy pop out dents. Brass Dyna's & Sound King's are relatively soft pliable shells..

Perhaps that, or take it to a experienced Paintless dent repair tech that take dents out of vehicles. They too have the tools on hand.
