Is there any interest in Marchers anymore?

I think they look nice but if I wanted to sell some of a collection off, would there be any interest? Could give them away but again is there anyone who would want them?

Speaking only for myself, I have no qualms whatsoever of using one in place of a floor tom,

But I would have no use for a marching snare as a snare.

You don’t happen to have a sky blue pearl Ludwig that has aged deeper blue...?

I sold several over here last year - mostly Rose Morris (all in WMP), also a couple of Premier / Olympic.

Not sure what the interest would be though?

Nice size for "floor" toms?

I'd only be interested in the really old ones from the Civil War...Or maybe a really nice rope tensioned one just for decoration....But for all practical reasons...no.

There's a great guy over here who converts marching / parade bass drums - which I'd say, due to narrow depth, may be less useful as "kit" bass drums - into dog beds!!

All marchers....I was just watching Unleaded with Michael Lee behind the kit and he was using a silver sparkle 10x 14 marcher as a snare.

Keep fixing them up...

I take it back about the marcher bass drums! They look great.

I think Michael Lee often used marchers, including a brass one at some point.
