Anyone have any info on this drum? I got it for around $65. I don't have any really old snare drums and was intrigued by it. Says it's a 13" drum. USA made? Date made? Any help would be appreciated :)
Vintage Champion Snare Drum
In the supplement 1952 to the 1950 Grossman Music catalog(Rogers) catalog there is a Champion classmate shown with a different snare tension-er . A year or two later there is the same named classmate with an eagle badge that sports your snare tension-er. So early to mid 1950s for a date.

Wow...thanks so much! Google wasn't getting me anywhere. So was it made by Rogers then?
Champion was Rogers lower line. Years ago I found this un cataloged snare drum with the traits of a Rogers snare(orchestra throw off and Rogers lugs) and has a Champion badge. So yes made by Rogers/Grossman Music.
Ok, thanks again for the info. Looking forward to getting this drum :)
