Big R Price Check

Loading...

I'm on the hunt for a second kit, saw this Rogers Big R kit at Music-Go-Round for $699.

It has a 12,13,14,15,16,22,14. They have the 5ply shells with rings and grey interiors.

Any opinions are welcome, thanks.

Nice price, but do you need that many drums? There's a guy around here selling a Big R set in that orange finish and he won't budge from $999. It's 12/13/16/22. They're in great shape, but overpriced, I think. I saw them in person and was tempted, but he wouldn't bend at all.

Nice drums, solid, good price, but ya a lot of drums, but you can just set up 12,14,16,22 or 13,15,16,22. So lots of good options, and if that

Dynasonic comes with it that's probably worth 1/3 or more of the price .

I'm surprised you are looking at so many drums since you're always playing 1 up 1 down

Hey, if I can get seven drums for that price, why not? I'd never use them all, but they could come in handy or I could flip the 14,15.

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Look at our boy johnnyringo going all Neil Peart on us!

Seems like an incredible price for all those drums. I've seen 4 piece Big R's going for that much If you have the room, I'd say jump!

They are all fitted with Evans hydraulic heads on top and the bottom heads have a big hole cut. At least they didn't ditch the bottom hoops.Party

I haven't bought the kit yet, but if I do, those heads are going in the nearest recycle bin.

Intact 7 drum set with Dyna is worth $699 IMHO. 14-15 might take a while to sell, but they are popular color.

$300 Dyna included? Shipping will be pricey if you cannot pick up. $300+

Might get price down if they have had them a while.
