Ludwig Tension Rods - standard lengths

Loading...

Can anyone here confirm for me please what the standard length of the tension rods would be on the following late '60s Ludwig drums (total length, and the length of the threaded section).

13" rack tom

16" floor tom

24" kick drum

Many thanks in advance.

I don't have a late 60's kit but I do have a 65 and a 70 kit I could check for you if that helps. I am sure there isn't much change.

Did you check online catalogs from that year? they sometimes have hardware lists that you might find info on.

I did find the online 1967 parts catalogue but found the resolution to be poor and couldn't quite make out the text. If you are able to check the lengths on your kit that would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

Here you go, taken from 1970 3-ply kit.

12” = 1-5/8”

13” = 1-7/8”

16” = 2-3/8”

22” = 3-7/8”

Hope that’s what you wanted.
