Does this one count?!! It's an R-380 snare drum. Complete and the mechanism works great! For some odd reason, the R-380 sticker was applied to the inside of the shell! Maybe a disgruntled employee?!! LoLoLoLo

I picked up this beauty last fall and thought I'd show her off. The drum sounds GREAT!!!
Does it have the rail? This beauty deserves one.
It didn't have one when I bought it. I bought a "new" frame and wires.
A friend of mine has a pretty big music store, 10 min from my house. I stopped in for a visit and he said he had a question about a snare drum. We walked over to the snares and he's moving stuff around, looking for the drum in question and passes a case back and says, "Dynasonic." He keeps looking for the drum he wanted me to look at. I opened it up and knew it was mine. 1964, 7 liner that was really clean! It took a couple of days of negotiations before I took it home.
You know how it is. You don't need another drum but, what are you going to do? Leave it on the shelf?

Hi jdz!
Great looking COB Dynasonic...and a 6.5" one, too! Did you buy the repro rail and wires? They are actually really good!
I've got a 5x14, 1966, 7-line. All original except for heads!

Dave, That's prime 64 meat! Great pics and score.
The last project I took on was the following green sparkle spotlight snare. It needed a donor drum to bring it back to life. The seller called it a Dayton because of the floor tom that is a Dayton tag drum but with Cleve traits. Square head tension rods and regular head screws holding on the lugs not hexed screws. As you mentioned you can't just leave it there so the floor tom single came to me as well. That want for MORE prime Rogers...I get it. Enjoy the eye candy!

I did buy the repros and I'm very happy with them. I have a 7 line, 5", and 5 and 6 1/2 five liners. The new drum just sounds the best! Is it the new rail? I dunno.
