Oyster Pink Pearl is only listed in the color chart in the '60 catalog. I haven't seen any pics of the set in question. But Ludwig's early Hollywood kits with dual toms were being made during this frame.Mike

My guess is rewrap for this kit. I'm only guessing but I do remember that someone made a photograph of the real pink oyster pearl and then somehow printed the pattern onto acetate or something...basically a plastic photograph of real POP (OPP?) and then used that as the wrap or under a clear wrap or something. It looked kinda okay at a distance but nowhere near the real deal....in my opinion. First of all, it wasn't a random pattern like the original.
