From Drum Doug

Bob - I bought my 22 13 16 new in 67. In 75 I was working at a drum shop in Pomona CA (UDC - Universal Drum Center) and a surfer came in with the matching 20 12 14 . He wanted 100 bucks for them so he could buy a new surf board ... what a lucky deal for me!Doug

I bought mine from a member here who rarely posts, usually, only when he has something to sell. He was in Maryland, I'm in northern NJ, so I took a day off from work, and he met me at the Christiana Mall in Delaware. We were both on time and it was a perfect transaction.

Hey Bob... Did the perfect transaction begin with the proverbial perfect phone call?

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

I guess so. It was a perfect transaction because the seller showed up on time!

It's nice when something goes as smoothly as we would hope it would.

That's right. I've driven distances to meet people for deals only to have them a no-show. It ****es me off that I wasted my time like that.
