Very rare. Have never seen one for sale on the market. No issues. No marks or fingerprints. Comes with the Craviotto bag as well.

50% price drop. What a deal.
Ya, what a bargain, hey honey, can I spend a 6 grand on a snare? Do you really think Jr. will go to college?
Not to pile on, but I was surprised at the price tag too... especially so as Adrian Kirchler is still crafting fine instruments!
But the millionaires here will fight for it
Lol
Didn't want to create a scene with the price. I have seen the #/50 silver NOB sell for 5000-6000, so the price to me is very fair in regards to what I have seen sell on the market, and the rarity of this drum.
I understand it is very expensive though. It was when I bought it too.
If anyone has any questions let me know

I'm just wondering what makes this snare to be worth 6 grand or any snare for that matter, unless it was once owned by a famous drummer. I'm sure it didn't cost anywhere near that much to make it. I'm just baffled as to why someone would spend that much money on a drum.
I love AK's work... it's a beauty with quality craftsmanship all the way!
GLWS.
I suppose the answer is rarity. This is most likely the only time someone would get the chance to own a #/5 snare drum, that could continue to gain value as they will never be made again.
The market sets the price. As I mentioned, the silver diamond snare went for 5000-6000 US, and those are significantly less rare.
