It's priced in the market range, the butt plate is very easy to bend back straight, I'd try an $800-$900 offer. good luck, it's a real looker.

Badge, throw off and lug fasteners are consistent with '60-'61. Chrome on lugs and other hardware shows pitting/light rust. Wrap is admittedly yellowed. Seller has cleaned wrap and chrome so further improvement may not be possible or minimal. Tension rods are not all the same? At the asking price I feel the overall condition should be better and there should be a set of wires!
