once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

My Ludwig set is sparkle red. I suggested that I buy a sparkle green set off Reverb and combine them into a Christmas jellybean set. She just rolled her eyes and walked away. :(

You could stack the drums so that it resembled the shape of a tree. and then string lights around that and voila! Drummer's Christmas tree!

So, I thought it was time to dress up the corner of my basement where my drum kit sits, so my oldest daughter is getting me 2 paintings, and 5 black & white photos. I'm not sure who they'll be, except they are all jazz drummers and 1 rock drummer. Hmmm, I love surprises. I'll get them framed, hang them up and hopefully the pics, the paintings and my kit will bring some interest to that corner of the basement.

The wife loves the idea...x-mas3

Tomorrow, the big drum gift reveal! I know, the suspense is killing you! Keep on PlClapping Happy2x-mas3
