I may be picking up another kit, this Stage Band in a blue sparkle finish. Any thoughts on these drums?

Floor Tom does not seam correct to me ami wrong here
I think I got the size wrong, it should be a 12x15 floor tom.

Slingerland's Stage Band series of drums were just like Ludwig's Club Date drums...same shells as top-of-the-line, but cost savings due to the center mounted lugs. The 12x15 floor tom is cool and was discontinued around 1966-67, even though it always showed up in the cataloged kit!
I'm sure they're great drums!

There is something off about the shade of blue sparkle on the Stage Band. Looks like an MIJ Blue Sparkle. The USA made blue sparkle stuff was different. I don't see any badges or a rail mount anywhere. I've also not familiar with that mount on the bass drum. Are you sure it is a Slingerland and not an MIJ?
I have a 12/14/20 Stage Band from 1966 and the bass only has 8 lugs. Did Slingerland do 10 lugs on 22's?
It's definitely a Slingerland Stage Band and yes they did make 10 lug 22" kick drums.
I like it.
And 22" stage bands are uncommon. Notice how i did not say rare?
Very cool drums, love the sizes. Based on my experience selling my Slingerland drums, 500 is a bit much. But it really depends on condition which is hard to determine from a picture.
Nice drum set. I think that the tom mount on the bass drum needs to be completed with replacement parts or a replacement rail installed in the same place. Is there evidence of a a tom mount ever being present on the mounted tom. People who are familiar with my posts know how adamant I am about hating MOUNTED toms placed of snare drum stands.

That's Slingerland's blue sparkle. I think they were the only U.S. company to use that shade of blue -I could be wrong. I always liked it a lot.
